I made this card for the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge using the Bloom Boutique Suite. The flowers and sentiments are so pretty!
Here’s the sketch I used. It’s so fun to participate in these weekly challenges.
Tips & Instructions
Hydrangea Hue Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper - 4 x 5-1/4, adhere to the card base.
Hydrangea Hue Layer - 2-1/2 x 3-1/2
Basic White Layer - 2 x 3, stamp the sentiment from the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set in Hydrangea Hue ink. Adhere to the Hydrangea Hue layer.
Stamp 2 large flowers from the Boutique Blooms Stamp Set in Fresh Freesia ink on Basic White. I stamped the detailed image first and then the filler image. You don’t even need to stamp off first on the filler image. Die cut with coordinating dies.
Stamp 5 of the small flowers (the detailed image) in Hydrangea Hue ink on Basic White and die cut with coordinating dies.
Die cut 2 branches from Peaceful Pine cardstock and 3 leaves from Granny Apple Green cardstock.
Arrange the flowers around the sentiment piece and adhere. I started with the 2 branches and adhered them to the card base and then adhered the label piece over them. Then add the large flowers putting glue just at the bottom area so you can slip in the other pieces behind them.
Add some Iridescent Pearls to the blue flower centers.
On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment in Hydrangea Hue ink. Stamp the large flower in Fresh Freesia and the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink. I masked the large flower to get the leaves stamped without covering the flower.
I love the colors on this card. The Hydrangea Hue with Fresh Freesia and a great combination!
