Sketch Challenge - Sunflower Fields

I used some of the new products from the upcoming catalog, Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper and it is just beautiful. I love sunflowers! After I made the card I thought that I should made that smaller piece as a note with a slot for a gift card. Oh well, next time.

Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.

Tips & Instructions

  • Pecan Pie Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 4 x 5-1/4

  • Daffodil Delight Mat - 2-3/4 x 3-1/2

  • Sunflower Fields Layer - 2-5/8 x 3-3/8, adhere to the mat.

  • Daffodil Delight Mat - 2-1/2 x 3-1/4

  • Radiant Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper - 2-3/8 x 3-1/8, adhere to the mat.

  • Arrange and adhere the layers to the card base

  • Basic White Strip 1/2 x 1-7/8, stamp the butterfly in Daffodil Delight and the sentiment in Pecan Pie inks. Adhere to a Pecan Pie strip - 5/8 x 2 and then to the card with Dimensionals. I used the Radiant Sunflowers Stamp Set.

On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. Stamp the floral image in Pecan Pie and color with Stampin’ Blends. I used Light Old Olive and Light & Dark Daffodil Delight. Use a Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blend Marker to dot the flower centers.

The colors in the sunflowers are so pretty and really makes me look forward to Fall.

The products I used from the Sunflower Fields Suite will be available for purchase starting September 1, 2026 with the new catalog.
