Isn’t this pinecone beautiful? I created it using the Frosted Pinecones Decorative Masks and only used 2 different colors - Pecan Pine and Early Espresso. It’s so fun to use the masks!
The Color Combo is from my October Inspiration Calendar - Real Red, Pecan Pie and Early Espresso.

Tips & Instructions
Real Red Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Basic White Layer - 4 x 5-1/4, emboss using the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card base.
Use the Frosted Pinecones Stamp Set and Decorative Masks to create the the pinecone. I first stamped the large pinecone image on Basic White in Early Espresso ink. Then add color using the masks. The masks are numbered and have a notch to help keep them lined up. I started with a light blending of Pecan Pie ink with mask #1, then pressed harder with Pecan Pie in with mask #2. Next blend Early Espresso with masks #3 & #4. Finish off with Pecan Pie and mask #5.
Die cut the finished pinecone with the coordinating die and adhere it to the card.
Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink on a 3/4 strip of Basic White and cut it down. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.
Tie a bow with a piece of Real Red Stitched Ribbon and adhere to the card with a Glue Dot.
On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink. Stamp the dots across the bottom in Pecan Pie ink.
I love how natural the pinecone looks with the different shading using the masks.
