I love birds and even though this is not a cardinal, I went with red because it’s in this week’s Color Combo. I added a little Light Calypso Coral to the belly to lighten it up. The stamp set is called Under My Wing and is from the upcoming catalog.

Tips & Instructions
Crushed Curry Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Basic White Layer - 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, emboss using the new Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder and adhere it to the card front.
Crushed Curry Mat - 3-1/4 x 4-1/4
Basic White Layer - 3-1/8 x 4-1/8, stamp the bird on the branch from the Under My Wing Stamp Set in black ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. I used Light Calypso Coral for the beak and leaves and Dark Calypso Coral for the branches. I colored the bird with Light Poppy Parade and then added some Light Calypso Coral to the belly to lighten it up.
Stamp the sentiment in Crushed Curry ink.
Adhere the layer to the mat and then adhere it to the card with Dimensionals.
Add some Painted Patch Adhesive-Backed Dots.
