I love all the die cuts in the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper pack. The pretty birthday cake is one of them.
I made this card for the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
Tips & Instructions
Thick Basic White Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
Pretty In Pink Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper Layer (gingham) - 3 7/8 x 5 1/8, adhere to the pink layer.
Blueberry Bushel Strip - 3/4 x 3 1/2, emboss using the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder, banner one end.
Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper (striped) - 3/4 x3 1/2, banner one end.
Adhere the banner strips to the card and trim off what hangs off the edge. Adhere the layer to the card.
Adhere the birthday cake to the card with Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2 strip of Basic White in Blueberry Bushel ink. Cut the sentiment into 2 pieces and trim down. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals. The Stamp Set I used is The Right Words.
Add some Pretty In Pink Party Dots.
On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4), stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink. Adhere a cupcake die cut from the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper.
I love the pretty blue and pinks in this card. It was so easy to make with the die cut birthday cake!
