Sketch Saturday - Frightfully Fun

I made this fun Halloween Card for this week’s sketch challenge using products from the new Frightfully Fun Suite. This suite is part of the new Online Exclusives that will be available starting July 1, 2026.

Here’s the sketch I used from the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Tips & Instructions

• Basic Black Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4

• Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper - 4 x 5-1/4, adhere to the card base.

• Basic Black - 2 squares - 2-3/8 x 2-3/8

• Basic White - 2 squares - 2-1/4 x 2-1/4, stamp the spider web in black ink on one of the squares. Emboss both squares using the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder. Adhere to the black squares. Adhere the squares to the card.

• Stamp the sentiment on a 3/4 strip of Basic White in Pumpkin Pie ink. adhere to the card. I used Dimensionals on some areas of the strip.

• Die cut some bats from Basic Black and adhere to the card.

On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment in black ink. Add some die cut bats and a piece of Designer Series Paper cut to 3/4 x 5-1/4.

I love that the embossed squares have the same patterns as the Designer Series Paper layer.
