Sketch Challenge - Winter Adventures

I’m surprised how well this card turned out and I love it. I used the Winter Adventures Dies along with an Impressions Plate to die cut the scene and then added some die cut trees and glued them to the snowy scene on the Alpine Winter Designer Series Paper.

I made the card for the weekly Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.

Tips & Instructions

  • Misty Moonlight Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4

  • Alpine Winter Designer Series Paper - 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, adhere to the card base.

  • Die cut the small scene from Misty Moonlight Cardstock using the Winter Adventures Dies. Use the Impressions Plate to add the embossed look.

  • Die cut some trees (1 large and 2 small) from Peaceful Pine Cardstock.

  • Arrange and adhere the die cut pieces to the card with Liquid Glue.

  • Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight on a 3/4 x 4-1/4 strip of Cloud Cover Cardstock. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.

  • Add some Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes.

On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight Ink. Die cut 2 trees from Peaceful Pine Cardstock and a small snowflake from Cloud Cover Cardstock. Adhere to the layer.

I love the this snowy scene with the trees, a perfect winter card.
