Sketch Challenge - Tile Garden

I made this card for the weekly Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge using the new Tile Garden Stamp Set. I love the wispy look of the flowers in this set. It’s in the new catalog which starts September 1, 2026.

Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.

Tips & Instructions

  • Old Olive Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 4 x 5-1/4, emboss using the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder.

  • Basic White - die cut the arch using the 5th from largest Everyday Arches Dies.

  • Use a Blending Brush to lightly blend Granny Apple Green ink on the arch.

  • Stamp 3 stems in Old Olive ink and 3 flowers in Melon Mambo ink on the arch.

  • Stamp the sentiment in Melon Mambo ink on a 1 x 3 strip. Punch a hole in both ends of the strip and feed a piece of Old Olive Specialty Rickrack through, wrap it around the embossed layer and adhere to the back of the layer. I added a few Dimensionals to the back of the strip to secure it.

  • Adhere the arch to the layer with Dimensionals.

  • Adhere the layer to the card base.

  • Add some white Shimmering Dots to the flower centers.

On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment in Melon Mambo ink. Stamp the stem in Old Olive and the flower in Melon Mambo inks.

I love the mixed font for the sentiments in this stamp set.
