The Safari Smiles Bundle has such sweet images that work great for a baby card. I went with the lion family and the new In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper that will be available starting July 1, 2026 with the new Online Exclusives.
I made the card for this week’s Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.
Tips & Instructions
Hydrangea Hue Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
2026–2028 In Color Gingham Gallery - 2 pieces cut at 2-1/4 x 3-3/4, adhere to the card base.
Basic White - Die cut the largest square using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
Stamp the lion family on Basic White in Black Ink using the Safari Smiles Stamp Set. Die cut with the coordinating die.
Color the lions with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Darling Duckling, Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake.
Adhere the lion family to the diamond and then adhere the diamond to the card with Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2” strip of Basic White in Hydrangea Hue ink. Banner both ends and adhere to the card using Dimensionals on the right side.
Add some Hydrangea Hue Dots.
On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), add a piece of Designer Series Paper cut to 3/4 x 4
I love how sweet this family is along sitting on the gingham paper.
