Sketch Challenge - Hugs Kisses

This week’s Sketch Challenge from Splitcoaststampers was super easy. I embossed the background layer and added a large red heart to the center with a sentiment.

Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.

Tips & Instructions

  • Real Red Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 4 x 5-1/4, emboss using the Hearts of Love 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card base.

  • Die cut a large heart from the Made With Love Designer Series Paper using the Endless Love Dies.

  • Die cut the arrow from Real Red Cardstock and cut it in half. Adhere the arrow pieces to the back of the heart and then adhere the heart to the card.

  • Die cut the label from Basic White and stamp the sentiment in Real Red Ink. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.

  • Tie a bow using a piece of Real Red Shiny Ribbon and adhere to the card with a Glue Dot.

On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp sentiments and heart in Real Red Ink.

I love the embossed layer with the little hearts along with the large heart over it.
