Sketch Challenge - Easter Basket

I made this cute Easter Card for the weekly Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. The Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper has some great scenes like the one I used with the flowers and the little grassy hill.

Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.

Tips & Instructions

  • Thick Basic White Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4

  • Pretty in Pink Layer - 4 x 5-1/4, adhere to the card base.

  • Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper Scene - cut down to 3-1/8 x 5. I cut a little off the top, bottom and both sides to keep the scene. Adhere to the card.

  • Shy Shamrock - 1-1/2 x 2-1/2, round the top corners and banner the bottom. Adhere to the card.

  • Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper (plaid) - 1 x 2, round the right, top corner and banner the bottom. Adhere to the card.

  • Stamp the bunny and flower on Basic White in Black Memento Ink and color using Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Light Pretty In Pink for the bunny ears and nose, Dark Pretty in Pink for the flower and Light Shy Shamrock for the stem and leaves. Die cut with the coordinating dies.

  • Adhere the bunny to the card with Dimensionals and adhere the flower to the bunny.

  • Stamp the sentiment on a 1 x 2 strip of Basic White in Shy Shamrock Ink and adhere to the card with Dimensionals.

  • Add some eggs from the Easter Assortment.

On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment in Shy Shamrock Ink. Adhere a 1/2 x 4 strip of the Designer Series Paper to the bottom. I used a leftover strip from the scene that I cut down. Stamp the bunny and the flowers in Black Memento Ink and color with Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I love how cute this little bunny is holding the flower and sitting on the hill.
