This week’s Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge is a fun one. I made 2 cards, using the leftover triangles for the second card. The Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper has such fun patterns.
Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.
Tips & Instructions
Lost Lagoon & Flirty Flamingo Card Bases - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper (2 patterns) - 4 x 5-1/2. I used the stripes and polka dots. Lay one on top of the other and cut diagonally from the top corner to the bottom, then keeping them together, rotate and cut the other way. This will give you 8 triangles.
Adhere the triangles to the card bases, alternating the top/bottom and sides.
Lost Lagoon & Flirty Flamingo strips - 3/4 x 4, emboss using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder and adhere across the middle of the card.
Stamp a sentiment on a label, I used the hexagon die from the Paradise Garden dies and the 2” Circle Punch. The Happy Birthday is from the Balloon Festoon Stamp Set and was stamped in Lost Lagoon Ink. The other sentiment is from the Sending Salutations Stamp Set and was stamped in Flirty Flamingo Dots.
Adhere the label to the card with Dimensionals.
Add some Array of Dots.
On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp the sentiment and add a piece of Designer Series Paper cut to 3/4 x 4
