Is it too early for pastel butterflies? Maybe… but I went for it anyway! It was actually snowing outside while I was making this card, but I just love how it turned out. The butterflies are die cut from the new Pastels Shimmer Specialty Paper, and they add the prettiest soft sparkle.

Tips & Instructions
Basic Black Card Base - 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Basic White Layer- 4 x 5-1/4, emboss using the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card base.
Die cut 4 butterflies from the Pool Party Shimmer Specialty Paper and 3 butterflies from the Bubble Bath Shimmer Specialty Paper. Die cut 7 bodies from Basic Black Cardstock. Attach the bodies to the butterflies.
Note: Use one of each color butterfly on the inside of the card.Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2” strip of Basic White in BlackMemento Ink. Banner one end.
Banner one end of a 3/4” strip of Basic Black and adhere behind the white strip. Adhere to the card.
Adhere the butterflies to the card.
Add a small Rhinestone to each butterfly.
On the inside layer (4 x 5-1/4), stamp sentiment in Black Memento Ink. Adhere 2 butterflies.
I love the shimmer on the butterfly wings against the black bodies!
