Sketch Challenge - One Horse Open Sleigh

I used the new One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper for this week’s Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. This paper has beautiful winter scenes.

Here’s the sketch I used. I didn’t add the banner pieces because I thought it would interfere too much with the pretty paper and the sentiment.

The One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper is an Online Exclusive which means you won’t see it in a catalog. Click the picture below to see it and scroll through the different patterns.

Tips & Instructions

  • Misty Moonlight Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - emboss using the dots folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

  • Wrap piece of Gold Trim around the embossed layer twice and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Cut Designer Series Paper to 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 and then cut the curve. I used a die from the Around The Bend Dies. You can use anything that’s round to draw a line and then fussy cut. Adhere to the card

  • Stamp sentiment from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and then heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Cut to side and adhere using Dimensionals.

  • Tie bow with Gold Trim and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.

  • Add some Gold Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes

On the inside layer stamp sentiment with Versamark and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Add a Gold Snowflake.
