I created this card for a Build A Card Challenge with the team I’m on. The requirements were to create my own background, use Coastal Cabana, at least two layers and use twine. It’s so nice to have a starting point for designing a card.
I used the Blossoms In Bloom Stamp Set and stamped the flowers and dots in different colors. It’s always good to start with your largest image and then fill in with smaller images when making your own background.
Tips & Instructions
Coastal Cabana Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4
Stamp large flowers with Flirty Flamingo Ink and center with Daffodil Delight Ink. Add some leaves with Granny Apple Green Ink. Stamp the dots with Coastal Cabana Ink. Fill in with the small flowers with Melon Mambo and Coastal Cabana ink, stamping off the Coastal Cabana Ink first.
Stamp the sentiment with Coastal Cabana Ink and 3 small flowers with Melon Mambo Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Cut with Tasteful Labels Dies.
Cut the larger label from the Tasteful Labels Dies from Coastal Cabana Cardstock and adhere behind white label. Adhere to card using Dimensionals.
Add some pearls to the flowers.
Tie a bow with two strands of White Twine and adhere to label with a Glue Dot.
